KB!

hello :)

KB is an educator, writer, and designer of a surprising number of games about vulvas. In her creative work and research, KB explores how games and play facilitate learning about relationships, intimacy, sexual health, consent, and more. After completing the award-winning (val)iant: or, val's guide to having a broken vag in 2023, she worked in the video game industry for a couple years before returning to academia. She currently teaches at USC Games and the Los Angeles Community College District.

Other things KB is passionate about: women's soccer, Ao3, and Pokémon. She also loves to play the piano and cry it out (simultaneously). When she isn't making games, writing, or teaching, KB is usually talking to people about the United Videogame Workers (UVW-CWA).
